There are a variety of Sun-Mar systems to meet your needs from low usage to high frequency large family usage and they are shown below.

Self Contained Units

Excel

The Excel is the preferred self contained electric model for heavy or residential usage. It can handle 6 adults or families of 8 for vacation/weekend usage or 3 adults or a family of 5

for residential/continuous usage.

It has the largest biodrum of the self contained units which gives it twice the capacity of the Compact model.

The Excel also comes in a non-electric model for those living off the grid. It has no fan or heater but a larger 4 inch vent for good ventilation. It can serve 5 adults or a family of 7 for vacation/weekend usage or 2 adults or a family of 3 for residential/continuous usage.

Compact

The compact as a lower profile than the Excel as less capacity. It can serve 3 adults or a The Compact differs from the Excel in that all three chambers are smaller, which makes the Compact ideally suited to light residential or light to medium cottage use. No footstool is needed due to low profile design.

Space Saver

The space saver is designed for limited spaces. It is made to turn a closet or corner into a SPACE SAVER is a standard three chamber unit designed specifically for situations where space is extremely limited. Even a closet or small corner can now be turned into a bathroom! The SPACE SAVER has almost the same size Bio-drum as the COMPACT, so composting capacity is similar to that of the Compact.

Mobile Toilets

Both are designed to accommodate violent motion with mounting brackets, a finishing drawer that is gasketed in, air intakes that insure that no liquid can escape and a composting drum that is locked at all times.

Central Composting Systems

Sun Mar also makes central composting systems for those who want a traditional looking toilet and can place the central unit below the toilet in a basement like area. Centrex unit below actual toilet

They are available in wet and dry flush models. The actual toilets are sold separately from the systems.

The Centrex Models may be better suited for commercial applications where there is minimal supervision and potential heavy usage. Since the actual toilet is located separately from the composting/centrex unit (shown in picture at right) there is less chance for abuse where patrons may be tempted to turn the biodrum crank (common on self contained models shown above) since it is located in a separate area. The Central Composting Toilet Systems retail between $1320.00 for the Centrex non electric 1000 to $1885.00 for the Centrex 3000 A/F, shipping not included*. The toilets retail for $295.00-$310.00 excluding shipping.

Do It Yourself Installation

The systems are designed for do-it-yourself installation and include everything needed to install and operate the systems. The only exception is the 3 inch plumbing pipe and fittings needed to connect the 1 pint flush toilet to a central composting (Centrex) system. You get an owners manual, warranty card, 30L bag of peat mix and dried bacteria, rake, bottle of Compost Quick enzyme and complete vent kit that includes pipe, fittings and vent intake.

The self contained units are the easiest to install because they just sit on the floor and require that the unit be plugged into a regular outlet after the vent has been connected. The vent requires a small hole be cut through the wall/ceiling to the outside/roof.

Once you choose the model you want please call (706) 867-9446 which is also our bed and breakfast inn number.

I only sell to customers in the Continental USA.

Depending on your location shipping can add up to $200.00 to the prices above for the self contained units.

Shipping quotes are only valid for 5 days since prices vary due to gasoline prices so do not call unless you are serious about purchasing a toilet.

Once I have your shipping address, phone number and model desired I can request a shipping estimate from Sun Mar. I will send you an invoice via email through PayPal for the total costs and you can pay with your credit card.

Once I receive confirmation from PayPal that you have placed your order I can order from Sun Mar. Your toilet will be drop shipped from New York to your location. I will also provide an estimated delivery time since it can vary depending on production schedules and product demand.
